The size of the room was very generous. We even had a small sofa. Our room was cleaned and the bed was made every day. The design of the room was lovely, with a lot of different lights and a modern bathroom. We also had a rainforest shower. My daughter and me felt safe in the room (always a plus traveling alone as a female with an underage kid). The staff were incredible nice. (Special thanks to Beatrice for answering a lot of questions after our arrival 😅) The internet works really good. The district is amazing. Right next to the hotel is a bakery, a supermarket and a spot for asian streetfood. Also two or three cafès but we didn’t visit them. Also two metro stations are a short walk away. (When you open your window first thing in the morning, the whole street smells like the fresh baked croissants from the bakery! 🙌🏻) Since we love street art we walked a great deal from and back to the hotel, and if you invest 40 Minutes, you can walk to Louvre, Notre Dame or Galeries Lafayette.

I've stayed in this hotel before, and was pleased to stay again. It's a 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord and just off République, and there's a very friendly welcome day and night. It's simple, comfortable and well priced, and in an interesting and lively neighbourhood (the 10th) that reminds me of Shoreditch in London. Our room, like all the others on the plan, was small but who goes to Paris to hang out in their hotel? Our room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Something new this stay: Paris seems to have gone mad for 'le Brunch' and there are now three venues serving it on the street, two of them with long queues. We had breakfast at the cafe around the corner every day.

Perfect location from which to explore Paris. It is only a 20 minute walk from the Eurostar terminal at the Gare du Nord, and a very pleasant three kilometer walk to Notre Dame, passing the Pompidou Centre and Les Halles on the way. The neighbourhood was quiet at night and full of fabulous bakeries, coffee shops and independent restaurants. There was even a covered grocery market within 10 minutes' walk. My room had a small double bed, which was a very pleasant surprise for a single room. Special thank you to all the reception staff who were fantastically friendly and helpful, and always available.

Staff were friendly and helpful with our early checkin and departure 3 days later. The location was perfect for us, walking everywhere we wanted to go; Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Sacré Cour…and places in between. And, it is close enough to the Metro for anyone not so inclined. The walk from and back to the Gare du Nord was convenient, 12 minutes. There are many sidewalk cafés and restaurants on the same street, but the then…this is Paris so there are many interesting cafes and restaurants on almost every street.

Everything - all of the staff are very friendly, my room was consistently cleaned when I was out. Garbage trucks passed everyday and I couldn't hear them despite being on the 1st floor (2nd for Americans) and my window facing the main street. I prefer cosy rooms so this too suited me. I think someone with a giant luggage would need to squeeze in a bit though. The location is amazing and very walkable with good access to the metros. I especially loved the bakery on the corner and the next door asian takeaway.
