The size of the room was very generous. We even had a small sofa. Our room was cleaned and the bed was made every day. The design of the room was lovely, with a lot of different lights and a modern bathroom. We also had a rainforest shower. My daughter and me felt safe in the room (always a plus traveling alone as a female with an underage kid). The staff were incredible nice. (Special thanks to Beatrice for answering a lot of questions after our arrival 😅) The internet works really good. The district is amazing. Right next to the hotel is a bakery, a supermarket and a spot for asian streetfood. Also two or three cafès but we didn’t visit them. Also two metro stations are a short walk away. (When you open your window first thing in the morning, the whole street smells like the fresh baked croissants from the bakery! 🙌🏻) Since we love street art we walked a great deal from and back to the hotel, and if you invest 40 Minutes, you can walk to Louvre, Notre Dame or Galeries Lafayette.

Facade/entrance in District Republique

Excellent location on a quiet street near Place de la Republique, with a boulangerie and a grocery on the same block. Bathroom a bit small and damp, but serviceable. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great to have an elevator, though it did break down once during the stay. Very clean, and terrific value for the area. Room size standard for Paris, but very nice to have a vanity/desk and a closet.

Food and drinks in District Republique

I've stayed in this hotel before, and was pleased to stay again. It's a 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord and just off République, and there's a very friendly welcome day and night. It's simple, comfortable and well priced, and in an interesting and lively neighbourhood (the 10th) that reminds me of Shoreditch in London. Our room, like all the others on the plan, was small but who goes to Paris to hang out in their hotel? Our room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Something new this stay: Paris seems to have gone mad for 'le Brunch' and there are now three venues serving it on the street, two of them with long queues. We had breakfast at the cafe around the corner every day.

The location was great, having several good places to eat and a supermarket nearby. Only a short walk from 2 subway stations including Republique station and also a nearby bus stop. The famous Parisian bakery Mamiche was only steps away . They have an elevator which was really helpful especially if you have big luggage. Room was clean and quiet and they have clean up service every day. The staff was especially warm and welcoming. I will definitely book this hotel again next time I am in Paris.

Restaurant/places to eat in District Republique

Perfect location from which to explore Paris. It is only a 20 minute walk from the Eurostar terminal at the Gare du Nord, and a very pleasant three kilometer walk to Notre Dame, passing the Pompidou Centre and Les Halles on the way. The neighbourhood was quiet at night and full of fabulous bakeries, coffee shops and independent restaurants. There was even a covered grocery market within 10 minutes' walk. My room had a small double bed, which was a very pleasant surprise for a single room. Special thank you to all the reception staff who were fantastically friendly and helpful, and always available.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Paris! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to explore on foot. Many major attractions are within walking distance, and if you prefer public transport, there's a metro station just a 2-minute walk away. Despite being so central, the hotel is situated on a calm, beautiful street that feels very safe and peaceful.

Everything was fine with the room. Clean bedsheets, towels, and bathroom (which looked new). The room was also cleaned every day. Size was enough for me and my partner, yes it was on the smaller side, but sufficient for bags and two ppl. Given what we've heard about Paris. The location was great in my opinion. Right in front of your popular breakfast place, on the corner amazing bakery. On the street, there are multiple places to eat and hang.

Perfect location, close to Place de La République with various restaurants, cafés and bars in the area. Additionally, the little street the hotel is in has everything you need: amazing breakfast restaurants, a boulangerie, grocery store, lunch and dinner restaurants and the subway is also not far away. The hotel staff is super nice and friendly.

Staff were friendly and helpful with our early checkin and departure 3 days later. The location was perfect for us, walking everywhere we wanted to go; Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Sacré Cour…and places in between. And, it is close enough to the Metro for anyone not so inclined. The walk from and back to the Gare du Nord was convenient, 12 minutes. There are many sidewalk cafés and restaurants on the same street, but the then…this is Paris so there are many interesting cafes and restaurants on almost every street.

Friendly and helpful staff and a great location: a good burger place within 10 metres, an excellent breakfast place across the road and nice pubs on every corner.
